These are confusing me....I think I meant the median...which is the one that is in the center of all?

Yes. The median is the one in the middle.

If you meant the median, I believe that the answer would still be 40 :)

What do I do when there are two numbers in the center (I know it is 40...) do I divide or multiply them?

When there are two numbers in the center, you add them and divide by two to get the median.

iven is exactly correct :) if you want to find the median, but you have two numbers in the middle, you have to add the two numbers together and then divide the answer by two to get the median.
