Question about classical mechanics..
In lecture 21 Walter talks about a second solution to problem 7.9 (14 min 50 sec), where a ruler with a distance d from the center of mass is given a short impulse. Could you explain to me how you can derrive the solution (w = 12 Id/ML^2) originating from a point p (distance d from center of mass). Thanks in advance!
