##this works too!! and is a little shorter

"""Gives the indeses of a key (little string) in a target (big string)"""
foundstring = ()## tuple carries the spots the key was found
beg=0 ## set begining to 0, this gets reset when key is found
while beg <=len(target)1 and find(target,key,beg)>=0:
foundstring = foundstring + (find(target,key,beg),)
beg= find(target,key,beg)+1 # resets starting point to 1 after last find
