Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0If angle 1 is ∠JNL, it's an obtuse angle, supplementary to to angles JNM and LNK. It's supplementary because it helps finish the 180 degrees (straight line) with those two other angles. Complimentary on the other hand helps finish the 90 degree right angle with another angle. A quick tip on how to remember complementary from supplementary: someone will "compliment" you on your grades if you get a 90 on a test.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Ah, i didn't see the '1' there before in the drawing. So it looks like 1 is the angle LNM, a 180 degree angle. 180 degree angles are the ones straight across.
