so here you solve simultaneously the following: (7x + 21)/3 = 7 (-7x -21)/ -3 = 7 <-- not too sure as to whether that should be /-3 or /3. then you can solve them!

$|\frac{7x+21}{3}| = 7$Rewrite, $$\frac{7x+21}{3} = 7$$ And $$\frac{7x+21}{3} =-7$$ Solve both.

So it ends up being -6,0 ?

Aren't you supposed to flip the signs of the modulus bit, not the result? as the modulus signs mean the answer could have originally been + or -?

I don't know i'm afraid, like I said, I'm not too sure myself. The concept is there though...

Ok. Thank-you
