When a certain spring is expanded 15 centimeters from its natural position and held fixed, the force necessary to hold it is 3000 dynes. Find the work W required to stretch the spring an additional 15 centimeters. I think I understand the general concept of work being the integral of F(x)*displacement but I can't picture in my head how to set this equation up to solve for the needed variables. Thanks guys!
