Help!: The resident population [P] (in thousands) of Georgia from 2001 through 2005 can be modeled by P=7854+533√x where x is the number of years since 2000. When was the resident population in Georgia about 8,920,000 people?

    Make P = 8920 (since it's "in thousands") so \[8920 = 7854+533\sqrt{x}\] can you continue to solve for x?
