All of the following are identified with Italian unity except Choices... Mazzini. Cavour. Pope Pius IX. Garibaldi.

    Pope Pius. He was in control of Rome, which he wouldn't give up for Italy to be unified. Mazzini preached unity to young men of Italy years before the first attempts. Cavour united the North and engineered Garibaldi's conquest in the South.
