Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1barrycarter explained it very well. A vertical line has the formula x=a is a constant. In this case since the point Z is on this line the vertical line would be x=2 and y can have any value you want. The horizontal line has the formula y=a where a is a constant. In this case it is given y=11. So the formula is y=11
