    well, from the last question, we know that a theory EXPLAINS. it's also important to know that theories don't become laws. so which ones can you rule out now?

    if you had to choose just one, i'd go with C becuase "scientific support" seems more credible as "evidence" than observation. but again, i think D is a pretty good answer (tell your teacher. he/she will be impressed with you :-)

    i think i'm going to change my final answer to D. :-) sorry about that. C and D are still both very good answers, but now I believe D is better.

    agreed. that's why i don't think it's a good question! there seem to be 2 valid answers, but you said you can only choose one.
