If you pour equal amounts of scalding hot water into different metallic cups of equal temperature, which cup will heat up the most? Rank the cups from hottest to coldest. Rank from warmest to coolest final temperature. 500g cast iron cup, 500g silver cup and 750g cast iron cup.

    500g Silver 500g cast iron 750g cast iron Silver cast a more refined structure, and is very conductive. Cast iron however is very slow to heat, as such it is the material of choice for skillets, ovens and radiators.
