Using complete sentences, describe what might happen if a rational expression were multiplied before being simplified.

    If you multiply an expression before it it simplified, you would end up with a much larger fraction and you may encounter much difficulty while attempting to simplify it. However, if you properly simplify an expression before multiplying it, you should yield something much more manageable and easier to simplify.
