would the Interphase "phase" of Mitosis be considered all inclusive of the other phases since its definition is:"The period from cell formation until it reproduces", or am I just missing the whole process completely?

well... i didnt get by other phases do u mean by prophase metaphase,etc. and acc. to the line its right The period from cell formation until it reproduces" as u know M phase and interphases are the part of cell division and if any of them are miss cell division cannot be occur for example if cell do not elongate its unable to break in two parts for this interphase necessary to see the cell whether it is eligible to do cell division or not and much more while in M phase the actual process occur but it can only occur if interphase done its job otherwise no means of M phase reamins

There are two basic phases in the cell cycle: mitosis (when the cell is dividing) and interphase (when it is not dividing). Both these phases can be further divided into subphases. Mitosis can be divided into prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase and cytokinesis. Interphase can be divided into G0 phase (when the cell has essentially "left" the cell cycle and has committed not to divide, like a neuron in a grown animal), G1 phase (when the cell is getting ready to make new DNA), S phase when the cell is actively replicating it's DNA and G2, after the cell has replicated its DNA but before it divides.
