$\lim_{h \rightarrow 0} \sqrt{a+h}-\sqrt{a}/h$

be free to ask me for details :D

Okay, I get why the one is on top in your drawing, but where does the 1/2 square root of a come in?

5. anonymous

evaluate the limit: $1/ (\sqrt{a + 0} +\sqrt{a}) = 1/ (\sqrt{a } +\sqrt{a}) =1/ (2\sqrt{a})$

GOT IT!!! THANkS!
