you change it to this: \[{[(x^2+12x+32)/(6x+42)]} * {[(x^2-49)/(x^2+4x)]}\] now simplify x^2+12x+32 into (x+4) (x+8) and simplify x^2-49 into (x-7)(x+7) and simplify x^2+4x into x(x+4) and simplify 6x+42 into 6(x+7) plug those back into your expression and cancel out some terms, you will get the right answer!
