If I have 741.7kg of cranberries, that have 87% moisture content calculate the amount of water removed. The desired moisture content of cranberry sauce is 82% moisture content

    sorry i made a mistake i have to calculate the water loss from the total cranberries which is 775kg

    no 74107 is the amount of cranberries i have. I need to know how much water is removed from that 741.7

    water = moist content - souce 0.87 - 0.82 = 0.05 water weight = 0.05 times 741.7 = 37.085 kg

    you have to find what 5 % represent 5% of 741.7 0.05 * 741.7 = 37.085 kg
