Metaphysics is a branch of philosophy concerned with explaining the fundamental nature of being and the world... (from Wikipedia.) Utilitarianism is an ethical theory holding that the proper course of action is the one that maximizes the overall "happiness". (from Wkpda.) __________________________________________________ If Utilitarianism is a theory about how happy someone is, making them frivolous, what could metaphysics be? It's pretty simple if you know the definitions.
