so from c^2 -6cd +9d^2 we have got (c-3d)^2 what will be in this last point a and 4=2*2 so hence 2^2 will be b^2 and now you just need to put these inside formula
(c-3d)^2 will be a^2
than there we will get (c-3d)^2 -4=(c-3d-2)(c-3d+2)
