|dw:1329206879620:dw| now make alkane by this
I think you will just get ethane. red p/HI is a strong reducing agent.
rit now make alkene
hmmm... Lets see you want to use only red p/HI?
So now after getting alkane , you need to convert alkane to alkene, Using Cl2/ light . You'll get CH3CH2Cl. To which you add alc KOH to get ethene.
yea that was i m asking how u come to know the nxt way i m nt gettin dat thing
To convert from alkane to alkene you always use the standard reaction chlorinate it and then eliminate, i can't see any other way. See thats what i mean by retro synthetic analysis, See the product is alkene, you can get alkene in many ways:- Dehydration of alcohols, Elimination reactions, are the most common. Now you can;t prepare an alcohol straightaway from an alkane so leave that method, But you can prepare alkyl chloride which can be eliminated to alkene. Always see what the product is and see how you can get the product, Then try out each way until you find a simple preparation method.
and if u r not given product den as we awere not given product :(
Do some more problems you'll get used to it.
i tired as i m doing in series i m perfoeming well but the question get mixed i just lost it :( how u learn dat?
there are so many reaction in alkaners alkenes alkynes benzene
There are some specific conversions you'll need to learn to perform synthesis reactions. Like conversion from alkene to alkane by hydrogenation, from alkane to alkene by elimination, etc... Just learn it i can't see any other simple method.
ok.. thnx anyway .......
actaully i m just in a search of trick to do so do u know any link?
Nah.... Do you have a good organic text booK?
yup :) there is a famous coching ALLEN they redo all refershers and by mix up of them they make their own module which were given to us.. its perrfect and have enough ques to clear medical or every pattern
hmmm.... Anyway if you want to really do good organic problems and concepts i would use some good foreign author books like Morrison Boyd or Solomon Fryhle's.
+ i have additional referesher name ABC
they are high level for me i saw that books do u think for 12 there is a need ??
as we are already given enough dat is required i think so u say is there any need of it?
I dunno. Can;t say i learnt for IIT JEE from Solomon fryhle's it seemed a bit extra but still extremely satisfying, You'll hardly find anything thats not there in the book.
well i m not cinfurm but i heard so many times by my sir abu this book boyd as they were saying they took a good ques. from that book and included in it by the way u doing iit?? where
No i mean i am writing IIT this year. I'm in FIITJEE Bangalore.
ok.. wish u all the best den.. nw i m moving lot of stuff to revise as my 11 completes i want to do revision and den after 3mnths i have to start 12 portion den have to give entrance exam just one ques in is physics dat much tough as in 11
hmmm... you're preparing for AIPMT?
yea but mainly AFMC
whats that?? i'm not a bio student....
uhmm.. Armed force medical college i want to be in army as doc. to help my soldiers
AWESOME!!! :D :D All the best!!!
thnQ same to u bro nw gtg.. wish u got ur fav colg dat u want cya and thnx once again
