A student requires 500ml of 0.1M K2Cr2O7 solutions from a 0.250M stock solution. What volume of the stock solution must be diluted to 500ml.

    Try using the dilution equation...\[C_1V_1=C_2V_2\]Where... C_1 is the concentration of the first solution V_1 is the volume of the first solution C_2 is the concentration of the second solution, and V_2 is the volume of the second solution Does this help?
