When carrying out many of the tests for biological molecules, water is one of the substances tested. Why is this? Answer water will serve as a positive control for the test water causes a positive reaction with every test water helps limit changes in pH while the reaction occurs water supplies oxygen needed in all of the reactions water will serve as a negative control for the test

    I do not understand what it means by positive and negative control and reaction. Do you know what it means?
