what is the sqrt13 to three decimal places.

    i can get my answer this far but how do you do it to three decimal places using a calculator?

    i dont know what to push on the calculator to figure it out lol im not much on using calculators

    Not all calculators are alike but on mine I have to enter 13 and then push the sqrt key so try that.

    on others you push the sqrt key first and then put in the 13 So if the first way doesn't work, try that.

    the first way gave me an error and i did the square symbol and 13 earlier and it just give me sqrt13

    Then push enter or equals or something.

    Do you have a manual? Or if you don't and know the brand and model you could google it and find an answer.

    its a casio fx-3000es. its not one of the higher tech ones. ill try that and see. thanks.

    On my iPad, I have to push sqrt and it automatically opens a parenthesis. Then I enter the number, close the parenthesis and push enter.

    your answer was right though it was 3.606 with the three decimal places

    when i get it wrong it tells me the right answer. but it only gives me three tries to figure it out

    Doesn't your computer have a calculator on it? I have Windows XP and under "All Programs" Accessories, it has a calculator.

    Do you have windows XP? Mine has a square root key. It says "sqrt"
