Solve the system: y = 51  x y = (2220  35x)/50 y = y 50(51x) = 2220  35x 2550  50x = 2220  35x 30 = 15x 30/15 = x 2 = x y = 49 c. Graph these two equations: y = 51  x y = (2220  35x)/50 The two lines intersect at (x,y) = (2,49) d. The results are verified by the graph because the same solution obtained by algebraic methods are also found using the graphing methods
