how do u solve

3. anonymous

$3\sqrt{48}+2\sqrt{12}$ $12\sqrt{3}+4\sqrt{3}$ $16\sqrt{3}$

You need to factor out the perfect squares 48 is 3 * 16 which the 16 is 4 * 4 and 12 is 4 * 3 so you can factor the 4 out as 2 * 2 which leaves you with what sritama said.

u explain it better than the book does
