how would i do this problem? Evaluate: 100(1 + 0.08) ^-10

    Well here goes: 100(1+0.08)^-10 Or, 100(1.08)^-10 So, 100/(1.08)^10 Using calculator, We get, 100/2.15 And finally, 46.511 is our answer.

    This is actually a repeating decimal answer. The answer is never ending. 46.319348808468448046743799829240562385961382789090406 that is only part of the numbers

    That is the reason we keep it upto 2 or 3 decimal places at the maximum.
