Which is an example of a binary compound? a. acetic compound b. nitric compound c. potassium compound d. potassium oxide Please explain

    I think that a binary compound would have 2 elements in it, much like a binary system has two components. Both acetate and nitrite are poly atomic anions (negatively charged ions). Potassium compound can have any number of anions associated with it, so that leaves?
