i didn't really clean it up (have a lot of test cases in between), and not sure how helpful posting the whole code is for you, but here it is anyway http://codepad.org/hOALkjU6 would be best if you had specific questions

http://codepad.org/8Jn2xmzY Just finished it up today. Does anyone have a function to give more test cases for debugging? Also, what are thoughts on the most efficient way to code looping through the years for problems 2 and 3? I tried to vary my loop structure to find the most clean and efficient way solve the problem. Personally I like the loop I used in problem 3.
