I am not sure what a kite is besides possibly the shape of a kite (diamond possibly)?

    |dw:1329774232925:dw| This is a trapezoid because it has one set of parallel sides. You can figure that out using the following formula: \[\left( y _{1} - y _{2} \right) / \left( x _{1} - x _{2} \right)\] If you take (-5,3) and (-2, 5) you get 2/3. If you take (-4,0) and (2,4) you get 2/3. Looks like a trapezoid.
