I am not sure what a kite is besides possibly the shape of a kite (diamond possibly)?

dw:1329774232925:dw This is a trapezoid because it has one set of parallel sides. You can figure that out using the following formula: \[\left( y _{1}  y _{2} \right) / \left( x _{1}  x _{2} \right)\] If you take (5,3) and (2, 5) you get 2/3. If you take (4,0) and (2,4) you get 2/3. Looks like a trapezoid.
