you need to show that (x+2) and (x-3) are factors of the equation given. (x+2) is a factor if x=-2 produces the value zero for the given equation. similarly, (x-3) is a factor if x=3 produces the value zero for the equation.
So then which you use the -2 and 3 for your synthetic division? thank you for the help :)
