North America. The French and the Indians allied together to fight the British in North America. In fact, it was the debts of fighting this war in the colonies that caused Britain to heavily tax the Thirteen Colonies leading to the American Revolution.

French and Indian War refers to the Native Americans. Its actually just a branch of the Seven Years War between England and France in Europe.
