Determine an equation, in standard form, for the horizontal line that has a y-intercept of 5.

    Since the slope of a horizontal line is 0, and the y-intercept is (0, 5), you can right it in slope-intercept form. Namely, \(y=0x+5=5\), so \(y=5\) would be your final equation.
