In the bigger triangle, the distance between Bermuda and Miami is 8 and the distance between Miami and San Juan Puerto Rico is 2x. In the smaller triangle, the distance between Bermuda and Miami is 7 and the distance between Miami and San Juan Puerto Rico is x + 3. What is the value, in centimeters, of x?
