You have 1 L of soda. Your glass can hold 500 ml of soda. How many glasses of soda can you get out of the 1 L? Explain.

    1 L of soda is 1000 mL of soda (milli being the prefix for "thousandths". Therefore two glasses full of 500 mL of soda is equal to 1 L.
