A colleague has created a form for teens to submit poetry for National Poetry Month. She's asking for their ZIP. Shouldn't that be written out? I think zipcode is correct.

The official term is "ZIP code," two words, with "ZIP" in all caps. If headline-style caps are used in the form, then the label would be "ZIP Code," with a cap on the "c" in "code" as well.
