Do you know how to find your A, your B, any your C?

Wait- just re read the question. You're looking to use the quadratic formula, right?

Okay, good. So your a is 1, your b is 2, and your c is -24 so wherever you see an a in the formula, you put a 1, 2 for the b, and -24 for the c

So, the formula starts with (-b)^2. For that b, you'd put in 2. Do the same with the rest of the a's,b's, and c's and then just solve for x

Since your a is 1, that's really simple because it only ever needs to get multiplied by the 2, and 2*1=1. So for a, you don't need to make any changes

Sorry about that extra a; I forgot to mention it when we did a but it's the same situation. Because a is 1 and it's being multiplied, it makes no difference
