Good evening Persian, Genetic makeup is another term for phenotype. A phenotype refers to the physical characteristics of an organism. Goldfish come in various colors, which is like the skin on a human. With gills and a streamlined body, the fish moves easily though ponds and streams. If this phenotype is adaptable, then that organism will flourish, grow and reproduce.
