its actually a 3 by 3 and it 2 1 3 on the top and then -7, 3 , 0 on bottom of the FIRST matrix ....for the 2cd matrix its 6,-1,-8 on the bottom its -5,2,-4

I cannot read the right side of the screen I think it is just a problem my computer has in any event, call each matrix \[A-X=B\]where A and B are the matrices given to you from algebra we get that\[X=A-B\]so do matrix A- matrix B i.e. subtract the corresponding elements

its a 2 by 2 on the top row its -8 -7 on the bottom its 1 -7 ..in the second matrix its 9 4 on the top and 5 5 on the bottom

so you have [-8,-7],[1,-7] =A [9,4],[5,5]=B now it's just algebra solving for X A-X=B X=A-B so the subtraction as you did the addition if you still do not understand please read the link I posted :)
