Since you didn't finish typing the last answer I can only guess that B is correct. The ozone protects from damaging UV rays. UV rays create all kinds of mutations and stuff so too much is detrimental to life. So if CFCs destroy the ozone, and the ozone protects from damaging UV rays, and too many UV rays are detrimental to life ....... fill in the rest?
