I tried to do it using synthetic division..but i cant points that make the function 0

r is just a variable to use instead of x say x = r-1; then if the equation becomes easier to solve for r we can then find x

its not a "normal" method, but at times it could be useful. otherwise, use synthD and make sure all your positions are filled
