you let 1 be, and 2 is your first prime, since all multiples of 2 are not prime; cross out all multiples of 2 go to your next nuber that aint marked out, the 3, and cross out all multiples of 3 since they aint primes

go to 5 afterwards and do the same, then 7 and by then you should be all marked out
