it means which no. is the least that is a multiple of both 14 and 6 14=2 x 7 6=2x3 so the factor 2 is common, but 7 and 3 arent.. so a 2x7x3 (=42) will have factors common to both. so will be a multiple of both, and the least no to be so. This, that is is the LCM. ans. 42
