Here's a different way of looking at it... the radius is perpendicular to the tangents so what you have area two congruent triangles. The angle between the two radii (is that how you say it?) is the measure of x. Since the sum of all the interior angles in a quadrilateral is 360 degrees, x = 360 - 90 -90 -34 |dw:1332492442131:dw|
