Vector problem It is given that OP = 5i+3j and OQ=-3i+j. PRQ is a straight. (a) find PQ and |PQ|. i've done this part, PQ = -8i-2j; |PQ| = 2sqrt(17) (b) if|PR| =sqrt(17), find PR I think it is (1/2)PQ, that is -4i-j, but how can i present it in a better way?

Ok.. actually, i did in a similar way, just divide the vector PQ by 2 to get PR, i just don't know if my presentation is ok

You might say that R is the midpoint of PQ.

|PR|=sqrt(17) = (1/2)|PQ| therefore R is the mid point of PQ PR = 1/2 (-8i-2j) = -4i-j Is it like that?
