For MLA, the citation style goes: Teacher's name, "Class/Guest Lecture", lecture/course title, school name, city, and state, and the date the lecture was given, in day/month/year format.

When citing online lecture notes, be sure to provide the file format in brackets after the lecture title (e.g. PowerPoint slides, Word document). Hallam, A. Duality in consumer theory [PDF document]. I sould also mention that in APA if the lecture your are referencing is not in printed form (i.e. classroom lecture) I believe you use a personal communication citation with no reference page entry.

depends on what class it is, cause i am an education major and I use APA, but the most common one is MLA. What you can do is use Noodletools. You have to create an account, and it is free. It is a site for sitations. I love this website!
