carbon di oxide
carbon mono oxide
dinitrogen penta oxide
boron tri fluoride
What problem u r facing in order to represent these names ??
You use this system of naming (with the mono-, di-, tri- etc. prefixes) when the substance you are naming is made of two or more nonmetals.
I just wasn't sure if I was adding the prefixes correctly, I wanted to be certain that I was doing it right. :) thank you!
