If water vapor continued to increase in our atmosphere, what changes would you expect in freshwater lakes? Answer Lake temperatures will decrease, but dissolved oxygen in the water will increase. Lake temperatures will decrease along with dissolved oxygen in the water. Lake temperatures will increase, but dissolved oxygen in the water will decrease. Water vapor is like a greenhouse gas so the temp would increase even the lake's and that would reduce the amount that can be evaporated.

the last one as hot lakes will mean more evaporation and when the water comes down it will bring oxygen, but then water going out will reduce oxygen as well, so all i can say is warmer lakes not about oxygen

i meant one of last two

i think that the temperature will increase, since evaporation will slow down due to an already greater amount of water vapor being present. now since we know, water molecules evaporate from the water bodies after gaining enough kinetic energy from the water body (so that they can surpass the inter-molecular force of attraction). so less evaporation means less absorption of energy, or heat from the oceans. hence the the temperature will increase. but what about oxygen?? hmm let me think...
