what is the center of dilation?
scale factor means to multiply it by that number
4 times (-2,1) is (-8, 4) listed
4 times (8,4) is (32,16) listed
4 times (3,0) is (12,0) listed
so (2,1) is the solution

Thanks Precal nd amistre idk..??
i hope yall are right
its important to know where the dilation is coming from so tha tyou can calculate from that position; assuming it to be the origin might be a safe move tho
math is not my thing
On these types of problems, I believe unless the center of dilation is give, it is understood to be the origin. I see these types of problems on state exams.
Scale factor is the number that we multiply to aka as the scalar
