So, again, you cut the shape into a square and triangle. The square: 20x20=400 Triangle: (20x20)/2=200 200+400=600

For the perimeter, 20+20+20+20+20+x I'm pretty sure x would be \[20^{2}+20^{2}=x ^{2}\] 400+400=800 and then \[\sqrt{800}= circa28 \] 28-20=8, because the hypotenuse of the triangle on top would be x(The shortest line)+20 (the line on the bottom)
