|dw:1333334528439:dw| since centripetal acceleration=mV^2/r ...where r is the radius of the circle... if we let there is no centripetal acceleration then it's value will be zero. i.e mV^2/r=0 this is only possible if r tends to infinity,V is speed and it cannot be zero here.Hence if there is no centripetal acceleration then r become tends to infinity and the path become like a plate..then we can say centripetal acceleration cause circular motion..
