We develop on Safari and Google Chrome. We test routinely on Firefox, as well. IE8 gets periodic passes where we try to make sure things are running decently.
I use chrome too. :D
i thought OS is more firefox friendly than chrome.

Well, who wouldn't be more friendly to a cute fox than cold metal?
It's all a matter of opinion, but I use Chrome as my main browser. If you're on Windows, I definitely recommend Chrome. If you're on a Mac, I won't get too upset if you use Safari :p.
Not really, no. Firefox is the browser that we end up having to do backflips to support. I think right now we've had to do more hacks to support Firefox quirks than IE9 (not to be confused with IE8, which is more of a pain).
Though even IE8 mostly gets more work in the performance department rather than styling.
